A guide to immortality - It's the late 1800s in Whitechapel, London. Frances Bennett, pretending to be a man to persue her career as a detective for Scotland Yard, meets Emile Taylor, a notorious criminal mastermind known for stealing and murdering without leaving a trace. A set of near-death experiences lead them both to believe they have an inability to die. With the existentialism of the idea of living forever hanging over them, Emile is smitten by the detective and Frances is willing to put aside her morality for the sake of not being alone. They are both terrible, terrible people. Including Frances Bennett and Emile Taylor.
The bad sex hotline - In an alternate vapourwave reality where the 80s meet the modern day, phone line services are good work for people down on their luck. So Alice Montgomery, a woman working retail for her dayjob, takes a nightshift for the Bad Sex Hotline. All she has to do is listen to people rant about their exes and wait for the paycheck to come through. It's not so simple when your own ex calls in and doesn't recognise your voice, and starts telling you all the things they hated about your relationship. Including Alice Montgomery.
